Chelsea M. Warren is a theatre artist based in Chicago with a focus on set design, devised theatre, and puppetry. Recent scenic projects include: Stranded on Earth (Geva Theatre, Rochester NY), The Whale (Victory Gardens Theatre), Always Patsy Cline (Milwaukee Rep), fml: how Carson McCullers sml (Steppenwolf Theatre), Luther (Steep Theatre), The Kid Thing (Jeff Nomination for MidSize Set Design; Chicago Dramatists & About Face Theatre) and Acis and Galatea (Chicago Cultural Center). Puppet design includes: design and direction for Puppet Peter and the Wolf (Skokie Valley Symphony Orchestra), and the Dragon for Shrek the Musical (Chicago Shakespeare). Awards include: 2012 recipient of the Michael Maggio Emerging Designer Award. She is a founding member of Yellow House, the devised theatre collective and an artistic associate at Steep Theatre.
