The interdisciplinary practice of Donato Mancini focuses mainly on poetry, bookworks, text-based visual art, and cultural criticism. He has published four books of procedural and visual writings: Ligatures (2005),  Æthel (2007), Buffet World (2011) and Fact ‘N’ Value (2011). His work was also featured in the anthologies Against Expression and The Last Vispo. A book of Mancini’s critical writing, You Must Work Harder to Write Poetry of Excellence, a discourse-analysis of poetry book reviews, was published in 2012. A new book of poetry/poetics, Loitersack, is forthcoming September 2014. He is currently a PhD candidate in English at the University of British Columbia.
