Melissa Benham is the author of codeswitching (Subday Press), as well as the chapbooks repronounceable and surrealist object vs. narrated dream. She received her MFA from the Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics at Naropa University in 2003. From 2004-2010, she directed the Artifact Reading Series in San Francisco, then Oakland. Her work has appeared in Capilano Review, Coconut Poetry, How2, One Less, Shampoo Poetry, and others. Melissa lives in the east bay with her husband, Brent Cunningham, and their children, Mina and Jules.
