Zev Torres’ poetry has appeared in numerous print and online publications including Great Weather for Media’s most recent anthology, I Let Go of the Stars in My Hand, and the Summer, 2014 editions of The Linnet’s Wings, First Literary Review-East, Typoetic.us, and The Criterion: An International Journal in English. Zev has self-published three chapbooks: Revision (2010), In Celebration of Hope and Change (2009), and Percussion Suite (2008). In 2010, Zev founded the Skewered Syntax Poetry Crawls and, since 2008, has hosted Make Music New York’s annual Spoken Word Spectacular. Most importantly, Zev likes to learn something new every day; today he learned that the correct term is “heart-rending,” not “heart-rendering.”

Zev Torres is a contributor to Nerve Lantern issue 8.
